NEWARK, DE -- Special discount ticket packages are available to University of Delaware students who are headed to Richmond, VA to see the Blue Hen men’s basketball team in action at the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament this weekend at the Richmond Coliseum.

All-session ticket packages to the CAA Championship can be purchased at the Delaware Field House Ticket Office from Monday, March 3 until Thursday, March 6 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The cost is $20 for each ticket and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. UD students must present a valid University of Delaware student ID card and can purchase up to two packages. UD students also can purchase single-game tickets to see the Blue Hens for $5.50 each. They are sold exclusively at the Richmond Coliseum.

The Blue Hens, who posted a 13-16 record during the regular season and earned a No. 7 seed for the tournament with a mark of 9-9 in league play, will take on long-time rival and No. 10 seed Drexel (12-19, 5-13 CAA) in the first round of the tournament on Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

Should the Blue Hens advance, they will take on No. 2 seed UNC Wilmington (19-12, 12-6 CAA) on Saturday at 6 p.m. The semifinals will be held Sunday with the championship game set for Monday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
