One of the top frontcourt players in University of Delaware women's basketball history, Colleen McNamara was a dominant force inside throughout her four seasons with the Blue Hens under coach Joyce Perry in 1991-95. The 1992 North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year, "Mac" followed that by earning All-NAC honors each of the next three seasons and was named the University of Delaware Outstanding Senior Female Athlete of the Year in 1994-95. She is one of just three players in UD women's basketball history to earn all-conference three times. She led the squad in scoring twice, averaging 16.8 points per game in 1993-94 and 16.4 ppg in 1994-95, and led the team in rebounding all four seasons, becoming just the fourth player in UD history to accomplish that with totals of 9.4 rebounds per game in 1991-92 (when she led the league), 9.1 in 1992-93, 11.2 in 1993-94, and 8.7 in 1994-95. The 6-0 native of Clarksburg, NJ established 14 school records during her career and graduated in 1995 as Delaware's all-time leader for points (1,560 - now No. 2), rebounds (1,063), blocked shots (187), and double-figure scoring games (86). Also an outstanding shooter, she shot 48.3 percent from the field for her career, which still ranks No. 5 all-time at Delaware. One of just three players in University of Delaware history with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds, she started all 111 games during her career and averaged double figure scoring all four years. She posted career-highs with 27 points twice, vs. Hartford and Pennsylvania in 1993-94, and with 17 rebounds vs. UMBC in 1994-95.
