KENNETH L. "KEN" LUCK

Men's Basketball (1978-82)
Men's Track and Field (1979-82)
Inducted 1997

One of the most exciting basketball players in Delaware history, the high-flying Luck held the UD career scoring record with 1,613 points from 1978-82. His record was not topped until the 1996-97 season. Luck held 13 school records when he graduated and still holds many, including career field goals made and dunks in a game. He earned Associated-Press honorable mention All-American honors in 1981 and 1982 and was selected by the Washington Bullets in the eight round of the 1982 NBA draft. In outdoor track and field, Luck's career-best outdoor triple jump of 49-9 3/4 remains a University of Delaware record. A 1982 graduate of Delaware, Luck is currently a rehabilitation specialist in Salisbury, MD.
