At Delaware: 2006-07: Played in two tournaments as a sophomore, playing five rounds at a 79.00 average...finished 40th at the CAA Championships with a three-day score of 233, shooting a season-low 75 in the final round. 2005-06: Shot 20 rounds in his freshman campaign, posting a 77.05 average...placed second in the Wesley Spring Invitational and 18th at the George Washington Invitational during the spring, emerging as one of Delaware's top young players...placed 50th in the CAA Championships with a three-day score of 246...shot season-low 71 at James Madison Invitational and matched it at Wesley.

High School: Excelled in golf at Bethlehem Catholic High School, where he was a two-year MVP and a three-time all-league and all-conference pick...won three individual conference crowns...finished 12th at 2003 state championship...2003 Eastern Pennsylvania amateur champion.

Personal: Stephen Jeffrey "Steve" Boerner ("burner")...son of Jeffrey and Carol Boerner...has a sister, Sarah, 24...uncle, Chris, played football at Notre Dame...worked as a Domino's Pizza delivery man over the summer...leadership major at Delaware.
