KITTY HAWK, NC -- The University of Delaware golf team closed out its 2006 fall season by finishing eighth out of 18 teams at the ODU/Seascape Collegiate held Monday and Tuesday at the Seascape Golf Course.

Campbell won the invitational with a team score of 556, four under par, while East Carolina was second with a 560 score. Winthrop was third at 567, followed by Old Dominion at 569, Radford at 577, James Madison and 579, and Francis Marion at 584. The Blue Hens were eighth at 585, 25 over par, while Boston College and Kennesaw State rounded out the top 10 as the two schools finished tied for ninth with 586 scores.

Delaware was led by senior Josh Williamowsky (right), who finished tied for 17th after shooting 76-67-143, three over par, on the par-70, 6,131-yard course. Senior Joe McLister tied for 23th place as he shot 68-76-144 to finish four over par, while freshman Jason Bernstein, who shot 74-74-148, tied for 44th place at eight over par.

Freshman Dan Rexon tied for 54th place after shooting 76-74-150, 10 over par, while junior Britt Murdoch tied for 88th as he shot 86-79-165, 25 over par.

Kyle Spahr of Campbell won the individual title by shooting 66-68-134, six under par, while Anthony Reale of East Caroliina and Eric Onesi of Old Dominion each shot 64-71-135 to finish one shot behind at five under par.
