Blue Hens Finish 13th at Temple Invitational

 

MOOSIC, PA -- The University of Delaware men's golf team finished 13th at the two-day Temple Owl Invitational held at Glenmaura National Golf Club.

St. John's won the team title as junior Andrew Svoboda fired rounds of 73 and 68 on the par-71 course to take the indiviudal crown. The Red Storm finished with a team total 596, six shots better than Central Connecticut State.

Delaware was led by Cory Sheldon, who tied for 26th with a two-day total of thirteen-over-par 155 (81-74). Jason Phinney was next for Delaware in 36th place (82-76-158).

Delaware will play in the Stabler Invitational next weekend, hosted by Lehigh University.
