Damian Wroblewski, an offensive line coach at the NCAA I-AA level the previous five seasons, was named offensive line coach at the University of Delaware in January, 2007.

Wroblewski, 31, begins his second season on the Delaware staff in 2008. He was promoted to assistant head coach and run game coordinator in February, 2008 after offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca left to take an assistant coach position at Rutgers University. He continues to serve as the staff's recruiting coordinator. He previously served at Stony Brook following two years each at the University of Pennsylvania and Hofstra University.

As offensive line coach in 2007, Wroblewski played a big part in Delaware's offense being among the top-rated units in the country. Led by All-American offensive linemen Mike Byrne and Kheon Hendricks, Delaware posted an 11-4 record and advanced to the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivisison national title game.

A native of Westerly, RI, Wroblewski attended Lafayette College and earned his degree in history in 1999. He was a four-year member of the Leopard football team as a center for head coach Bill Russo. He was a three-time All-Patriot League selection and earned the team’s Stony Jones Award as the team Most Valuable Player as a senior.

He began his coaching career at NCAA Division II Bryant College in Smithfield, RI where he served as offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, and recruiting coordinator under head coach Jim Miceli and led the Bulldogs to a three-year record of 13-15 in 1999-2001.

He moved to the I-AA level in 2002 where he served as offensive tackles and tight ends coach and special teams coordinator under head coach Al Bagnoli at the University of Pennsylvania. He helped lead the nationally-ranked Quakers to a two-year record of 19-1, including a perfect 14-0 mark in league play as Penn captured consecutive Ivy League titles in 2002 and 2003. While at Penn, he helped lead an offense that ranked second in the nation in scoring in (36.3) and seventh in passing (296.2) in 2002 and ninth in the nation in total offense (438.2) and 10th in scoring (34.6) in 2003.

After his stint at Penn, Wroblewski moved on to Delaware’s Atlantic 10 Conference foe Hofstra University where he served for two seasons as offensive line coach under Joe Gardi, helping to lead the Pride to a two-year record of 12-10, including a 7-4 mark in 2005. Hofstra led the Atlantic 10 in passing offense both seasons, ranking third nationally in 2005 (306.4) and fourth in 2004 (326.9). The team also ranked second in the Atlantic 10 in total offense both seasons and ranked No. 10 nationally in scoring in 2004 at 36.4 points per game. He coached three All-Atlantic 10 selections during his tenure, including NFL draft pick Willie Colon, now a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wroblewski moved over to I-AA Stony Brook last season and helped lead the Seawolves to a 5-6 mark under first-year head coach Chuck Priore. Stony Brook led the Northeast Conference in passing offense (226.3) while ranking third in both total offense (347.4) and scoring (22.0).

He and his wife, Kara, reside in the Newark area.
