Former University of Delaware backup quarterback and student assistant coach T.J. DiMuzio returned to his alma mater as running backs coach in April, 2007.

He became wide receivers coach in Feburary, 2008 when offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Kirk Ciarrocca left the staff to take an assistant coach position at Rutgers University. Delaware wide receivers coach Brian Ginn was promoted to offensive coordinator with DiMuzio taking over his duties.

As running backs coach in 2007, DiMuzio, 25, played a big part in Delaware's offense being among the top-rated units in the country. Led by All-American senior running back Omar Cuff, who led the NCAA and set a national record with 39 touchdowns scored, Delaware posted an 11-4 record and advanced to the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivisison national title game.
