High School: Three-year two-way starter at offensive line and defensive line for coach Ken Lucas, a former UD standout defensive back, at Gonzaga High School...two-time all-league and All-Metro pick...captain of team as a senior...nominated for U.S. Army All-American “Tough Man” Award...led team to 2002 conference title and No. 2 Metro ranking...team was also league runner-up in 2001 and 2003...named to mdvarsity.com “Dream Team”...played basketball and was a weight thrower in track...led basketball team to 2003 city title...led track and field team to 2002and 2004 league titles...won conference title in shot put and was third in discus in 2004 and and placed third in the shot put at the league meet in 2002.

At Delaware: Junior and a fourth-year member of the squad...two-year letterwinner who is expected to take over a full-time starting role at defensive tackle alongside of senior Jeremy Kametz...will play a key role in improving the unit that struggled a year ago...looks to be back at 100 percent after being plagued by ankle injuries most of the 2006 season...big, strong lineman who is hard to move inside and can stop the running game...has appeared in 14 career games with five starts and recorded 12 tackles (five solo), one tackle for loss, and three pass breakups...had outstanding spring practice and recorded five tackles in Blue-White game in April...was named Most Improved Defensive Player for spring drills by Blue Hen Touchdown Club...2006: Battled ankle injuries all season long but managed to see action in eight games at defensive tackle and earned second letter...missed games vs. West Chester, New Hampshire, and Northeastern but returned to play in final six games of the year...started five games with Hens going 3-2 in those contests...recorded 10 tackles (three solo stops), one tackle for loss, a half sack, and three pass breakups...had best game vs. Hofstra when he was in on a career-high five tackles, including a sack and another tackle behind the line of scrimmage, and knocked down two passes...earned Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance...also had two tackles vs. Albany...team went 5-6 under head coach K.C. Keeler...2005: Saw first action of career as a backup defensive tackle and showed great promise for the future...appeared in six games, all in a reserve role...after not seeing action in first three games, came on to play in six of the final eight contests...recorded two tackles on the season, both on solo stops vs. James Madison...team went 6-5...2004: Did not see game action as a true freshman and retained freshman eligibility...team went 9-4, won the Atlantic 10 title, and advanced to the NCAA I-AA quarterfinals.
