High School: Played quarterback as a senior at Red Land High School, passing for 1,490 yards and 13 touchdowns...first-team All-Mid Penn Commonwealth Division selection at quarterback...honorable mention All-State...started at receiver as a junior and had 30 receptions for 429 yards (14.3 avg.) and eight touchdowns...played under coach Frank Gay...earned three football letters...also a basketball standout and had scholarship offers in that sport as well...four-year basketball letterman...two-time "Big 15" honoree in basketball.

At Delaware: Second-year member of the team after transfer from the University of Pittsburgh...will have big shoes to fill as he takes over starting tight end spot for consensus first team All-American and Arizona Cardinals draftee Ben Patrick...outstanding athlete who has great size and hands and has the chance to be one of the top tight ends in the Colonial Athletic Association...one of two Pitt transfers on UD squad, joining senior quarterback Joe Flacco...enters season having caught at least one pass in eight straight games...had two catches for 21 yards in Blue-White spring game...2006: Transferred during winter session and took part in spring drills for Blue Hens...appeared in spring game but did not make a catch...joined a deep group of tight ends that included Patrick and redshirt freshman Josh Baker...played in eight games with five starts and ranked sixth on the team with 17 catches for 241 yards and five touchdowns..led team with 14.2 yard per catch average...started the first two games of the season in place of a hobbled Patrick but injured his ankle vs. Albany in Week 2 and missed three straight games vs. Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Northeastern...caught a season-long 50-yard touchdown pass from Flacco in UD debut vs. West Chester...had two catches for 36 yards, both for touchdowns (13 and 23 yards), vs. Towson, caught four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown (8 yards) vs. William & Mary, and had two catches for 24 yards and a touchdown (7 yards) vs. Hofstra, the only touchdown of the game in the Hens’ 10-6 win...team went 5-6 for head coach K.C. Keeler.

At Pittsburgh: 2005: Member of squad at University of Pittsburgh...appeared in just one game for Panthers squad that went 5-6 under first-year head coach Dave Wannstedt...2004: Sat out redshirt season at Pittsburgh and retained freshman eligibility...team went 8-4 and lost to Utah in Tostitos Fiesta Bowl...saw some action at quarterback in practice drills.

Personal: Robert Victor Agnone (“ag-known”)...born Oct. 2, 1985...son of Rob and Laurie Agnone...has one brother and one sister...business major at Delaware.
