High School Honors: Standout at nearby Middletown HS where he played football for head coach Bill DiNardo and also was a member of the track and field team...played offensive and defensive line positions and was a deep snapper...two-time All-Blue Hen Conference selection...led squad to two conference titles and to state runner-up spot...competed in shot put, discus, and 800 meters for track and field team...National Honor Society. At Delaware: 2003: Walk-on and second-year team member...valuable team member as deep snapper on placements...will battle for starting job again as a sophomore and will be a backup to Mark Moore on deep snaps for punts...2002: One of only three true freshmen to see action for the Hens along with cornerback Roger Brown and defensive lineman Tom Parks...earned letter as team's snapper on extra points and field goals...teamed with holder Joe Bleymaier and kicker Scott Collins to help Hens convert on all 31 extra point attempts and 12 of 22 field goals...did not see action at linebacker.
