High School Honors: Competed in football, basketball, and baseball at St. Joseph's High School...earned three letters in football as a quarterback, kicker, and punter...two-time All-Big Eight Conference selection as a kicker and all-conference as a senior at quarterback...earned All-State notice at kicker as a senior...two-year letterwinner in basketball at point guard...earned three letters in baseball as an outfielder, third baseman, and pitcher...earned all-conference, all-district, and all-region honors as a senior outfielder...led team to three-year record of 76-25...student council officer.

At Delaware: 2003: Second-year junior transfer from Louisville who will be looked upon to take over placekicking and kickoff duties from three-year regular and former All-Atlantic 10 selection Scott Collins (28 career field goals)...will handle all kickoffs, field goals, and extra points for Blue Hens and is also listed as the team's No. 2 punter behind sophomore Mike Weber...hoping to keep Delaware streak of 42 straight successful conversions...converted all three extra points in spring game but missed on field goal attempts from 35 and 47 yards...2002: Was eligible to play immediately per NCAA transfer rules after transferring from University of Louisville where he was a two-year team member...earned letter despite playing in just two games...did not attempt a placement, but kicked off twice in the season opener vs. Georgia Southern (kicks to the nine and three-yard lines) and kicked off three times vs. Maine (including two to the goal-line)...registered a tackle vs. Georgia Southern.

At Louisville: Two-year team member at Louisville under head coach John Smith...teammate at Louisville of current UD linebacker Ryan McDermond...2001: Backup kicker for team that went 11-2 and defeated Brigham Young 28-10 in the Liberty Bowl...team was ranked No. 16 nationally during the season...2000: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...team went 9-3 and lost in the Liberty Bowl.

Personal: Bradley Curtis Shushman...born Dec. 2, 1981...son of Tom and Diane Filstrup and Greg and Lora Shushman...youngest of six children...business management major with minor in finance...enjoys golfing...has worked at summer camps with NFL Buffalo Bills kicker Mike Hollis...cousins, Bob Wyngarden and Brett Wyngarden, played college baseball at Michigan and Northwestern respectively.
