 High School Honors: Two-year varsity starter at quarterback at Southeast Raleigh High School under head coach Chad O'Shea...hit on 60 of 138 passes for 938 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior...completed 62 of 117 passes for 1,085 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior captain when he led his team to a record of 9-3...set school record for most wins by a quarterback...earned first team all-conference honors as a senior...holds school single season and career records for completions, attempts, yards, and touchdown passes...played wide receiver as a sophomore...also a two-year starter in basketball who earned All-conference honors both seasons...standout in track and field...was active in speaking at local elementary and middle schools about importance of education...attended University of Delaware football camps twice during the summers...

At Delaware: 2003: Outstanding athlete with good size...will battle with fellow redshirt freshman Ryan Carty to earn No. 2 quarterback spot behind senior second-year starter Andy Hall...enjoyed a solid spring capped by a big effort in the spring game in which he completed 7 of 11 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns...also ran for 12 yards...threw touchdown passes of 58 yards to Joe Bleymaier and 16 yards to Zach Thomas to highlight the evening...2002: Moved as high as No. 4 on the depth chart at quarterback but did not see game action...retained freshman eligibility.

Personal: Bradley Christian "Brad" Michael...born Jan. 3, 1984...son of Mike and Sheryl Michael...father played college football at Appalachian State and Marshall University...business administration major with minor in criminal justice at Delaware...has one younger brother...enjoys fishing and riding motorcycles in spare time...has worked as a camp counselor at Boys and Girls Club during the summer.
