High School Honors: Standout wide receiver and defensive back at Stone Mountain High School under head coach Bill Harris...started two years at Carver High School in Atlanta before moving on to Stone Mountain HS for his senior year...named All-City and All-Metro as a junior at Carver HS...as a senior, posted 72 tackles and seven interceptions and was named first team All-DeKalb County...led team to 9-1 record, division team title, and state playoff berth...also a standout in basketball and track and field...National Honor Society student...earned Governor's Honor Award.

At Delaware: 2003: Second-year starter at wide receiver for the Blue Hens...exciting receiver with outstanding size and the tallest wide receiver in Delaware football history...expected to make big improvement in only second season as a wide receiver after beginning UD career as a defensive back...has long strides and good jumping ability and is dangerous after catching a pass...caught two passes for 12 yards in spring game...ran a 4.81 40-yard dash in spring testing...may also return punts once again...2002: Enjoyed a solid first season in the Blue Hen lineup as one of three starting redshirt freshmen in Blue Hens' new spread offense... played in nine games with eight starts...did not play vs. James Madison, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire due to a high ankle (left) sprain injury...team's second leading receiver with 37 receptions for 456 yards (12.3 average) and one touchdown...4.11 receptions per game ranked ninth in the Atlantic 10...caught a two-point conversion vs. Villanova ...caught at least two passes in every game he played with a season-high seven catches each vs. Richmond and The Citadel...named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. Richmond...scored lone touchdown of the season on 10-yard catch from Andy Hall vs. The Citadel...caught five passes for 89 yards vs. Villanova, seven catches for 92 yards vs. Richmond, and seven catches for 79 yards vs. The Citadel...caught a 57-yard pass from Andy Hall in his collegiate debut vs. Georgia Southern...carried the ball just once, losing seven yards on a reverse vs. Villanova...also thrust into punt return duty when Mike Adams went down with an injury in the opener...returned nine punts for 75 yards and a 8.3-yard average (No. 2 mark in Atlantic 10)...had long return of 16 yards vs. The Citadel when he returned five punts for 47 yards...moved to wide receiver from defensive back in the spring...projected as Atlantic 10 Conference Newcomer of the Year in Street & Smith's pre-season magazine...caught eight passes for 174 yards, including an 85-yard touchdown catch from Mike Connor to highlight spring game...2001: Did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility.

Personal: Brian DeWayne Ingram...born Jan. 13, 1984...son of Brian and Lallje Ingram....father was a standout linebacker at the University of Tennessee and played professional football with the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers in 1982-86...communications major.
