Delaware Football Names Hendricks, Johnson, Marcorelle, and Michaud Captains for 2008 Season
NEWARK, DE (May 15, 2008) -- University of Delaware football head coach K.C. Keeler has announced that seniors Kheon Hendricks, Erik Johnson, and Kervin Michaud and junior Matt Marcorelle have been selected as captains for the 2008 season. Blue Hen Standouts Cuff, Byrne Ink Free Agent Deals with NFL Teams
NEWARK, DE (April 28, 2008) -- Joe Flacco won’t be the only University of Delaware standout keeping his professional football dreams alive this summer. Running back Omar Cuff (left) and offensive lineman Mike Byrne, who teamed with Flacco to lead the Blue Hens to the 2007 NCAA Division I FCS national title game last December, announced Sunday that they have signed National Football League free agent contracts. Flacco, Cuff Strong Candidates for Selection in this Weekend's National Football League Draft
NEW YORK (April 24, 2008) -- University of Delaware football All-Americans Joe Flacco (left) and Omar Cuff will be glued to their television sets and their cell phones this weekend as both are candidates to be selected when the National Football League conducts its annual college draft.
