RICHMOND, VA -- For the third straight week, a University of Delaware player has been honored for his performance by the Colonial Athletic Association.

Redshirt freshman cornerback Anthony Walters (at right), who led an impressive defensive showing by the Blue Hens in their 38-9 win over Rhode Island t Delaware Stadium Saturday, was named the CAA Rookie of the Week.

Earlier this season, RB Omar Cuff was named Offensive Player of the Week (William & Mary) and freshman RB Phillip Thaxton was named Rookie of the Week (West Chester). The selections are made by the CAA office.
