NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware football squad will take part in its first major scrimmage of the pre-season Saturday, Aug. 11 at 3 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.
The Blue Hens, led by fifth-year head coach K.C. Keeler, began practice back on Aug. 3 and began twice daily practices on Thursday. The team will also take part in a morning practice at 7:15 a.m. on the Delaware practice field Saturday morning.
Saturday's scrimmage is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.The Blue Hens will take part in their second scrimmage of the pre-season Aug. 16 at 3 p.m.
The scrimmage is free and open to the public. Fans should be aware that there will be no seating in the West (home) stands due to renovations to Delaware Stadium. Seating will be available in the South and East stands.
