2004: Junior who will handle Blue Hens' punting chores for the second straight season...former walk-on...38.5 career punt-ing average is No. 4 all-time at Delaware...averaged 45.6 yards on eight punts in spring game with long punt of 47 yards...

2003: Took over punting duties in the spring for third team AII-Atlantic 10 Conference pick Ryan Bleiler who graduated and had a solid season...punted 67 times for 2,577 yards and a 38.5 average...had 20 punts fall inside 20-yard line...had three touchbacks and seven fair catches and did not have a punt blocked...ranked ninth in the Atlantic 10 and 54th in NCAA I-AA in punting average...67 punts were the fifth highest in school history, 2,577 yards were fifth highest, and average was 11th best in school history...Delaware led Atlantic 10 in punt coverage (2.1 yards per return) and fourth in net punting (36.3)...had season-best 45.6 average vs. West Chester was the sixth best single game mark in school history...also averaged 43.3 yards on six punts vs. Hofstra...hit six punts of 50 or more yards, including a career-long 54-yarder in NCAA championship game vs. Colgate...also had 53-yarders vs. Northeastern and Southern Illinois...had a 59-yard punt in the spring game...

2002: Did not see game action as backup punter behind Ryan Bleiler...

2001: Sat out redshirt season and retained freshman eligibility...

High School Honors: Three-sport standout at Cedar Grove HS, earning eight letters in football, basketball, and baseball...played defensive back, wide receiver, defensive end, punter, and kicker for head coach Ed Sadloch in football...three-year starter...two-time all-conference punter...earned first team all-area, second team All-Essex County, and third team All-State honors at punter as a senior when he averaged 42 yards per punt...also con-verted 40 extra points as a senior and had nine career field goals...holds school records for longest punt (67 yards) and longest field goal (40 yards)...team won three straight league titles and won state title his senior year...as a senior competed in Paul Robeson Football Classic and Governor's Bowl All-Star Game...National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award winner...played first base in baseball and earned all-conference honors as a senior...led team to three straight league titles and two state titles...

Personal: Michael Brian Weber ("web-ur")...born Aug. 17, 1983...son of Alan and Barbara Weber...health and physical education-major...avid golfer...has two brothers...older brother, Matt, played defensive back at the College of New Jersey...father played college football at Montclair (NJ) State and later went on to coach there...father is a 30-year veteran of coaching and currently assists at Cedar Grove HS.
