that recorded 41 sacks and ranked fifth in
NCAA I-AA in scoring defense (15.4), No.
16 in total defense (303.0), and No. 17 in
rushing defense (114.3)...played in all 16
games and started 13...started 11 games at
left tackle and two at right end...earned
second team All-Atlantic 10 honors for the
second straight year...earned a spot on
the Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-District 2
second team...ranked 11th on the team in
tackles with 38 (23 solo)...ranked third
with 10 tackles for losses of 38 yards and
contributed five sacks for 22 yards...also
intercepted a pass, broke up three others,

Slated to begin season as team's starter
at defensive end but moved to tackle spot
just before opener when All-Atlantic 10
tackle Femi Ayi was dismissed from the
team...started all 12 games, including 10
at tackle...12th on the team in tackles
with 29 (18 solo)...was third on the team
with 8.5 tackles for loss (34 yards) and
recorded 3.5 quarterback sacks (15
yards)...had one pass breakup and
recovered one fumble, returning it 18
yards vs. Villanova...enjoyed best game
vs. Massachusetts, taking part in six
tackles, including three for loss and 1.5
sacks and earning Blue Hen Touchdown Club
Defensive Player of the Week honors...made
four stops each vs. Georgia Southern and
Rhode Island...in addition to the fumble
return vs. Villanova...also had two
tackles, including one sack for nine
