2004: Verizon/CoSIDA Academic All-American...pre-season honorable mention All-American selection by The Sports Network...pre-season first team All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection...rated as the No. 11 best linebacker in NCAA I-AA by The Sports Network, which stated "shed his anonymous label with scintillating play during the post-season"...enrolled in graduate school at Delaware after earning degree in January...fourth-year starter who is among the hardest hitting linebackers in the Atlantic 10 Conference...a charismatic figure and a fierce competitor...one of the team's most popular players...UD fans chanting his name ("Mondoooe") whenever it is announced on the public address system after a tackle has become a popular sound at Delaware Stadium....respected team leader and a hard worker with outstanding strength...will handle middle linebacker spot for the second straight season...has played in 36 career games with 35 starts and is second among active UD players with 219 tackles, including 112 solo stops...also has career totals of seven sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss, six fumble recoveries, and five forced fumbles...joined once again on squad this season by younger brother, Marquez, a redshirt freshman linebacker...had five tackles, including a sack, in spring game...led linebackers in spring testing with marks of 36.5 in the vertical jump, 410 lb. bench press, 590 lb. squat lift, and 340 lb. clean lift...has run a 4.75 40-yard dash...ranked third last summer in Best Conditioned Athlete competition (based on overall score in a battery of conditioning, strength, speed, and agility tests)...

2003: Enjoyed an outstanding season in first season as starting middle linebacker for national champions...spearheaded a defense that allowed just 15.4 points per game (No. 5 in NCAA I-AA), 303 total yards (No. 16), and 114.3 yards rushing (No. 17)...earned second team All-Atlantic 10 Conference honors, was named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team, and was selected Blue Hen Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week three times...one of just four defensive players (along with Sidney Haugabrook, Mark Moore, and Kyle Campbell) to start all 16 games...led team with 110 total tackles (54 solo)..also had 8.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, three pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles...posted team-high 29 tackles in the post-season as Hens held four opponents to just 23 points, including the 40-0 shutout over Colgate in the title game...posted seven or more tackles 10 times with season-high 13 stops vs. Maine...also had 12 tackles vs. Massachusetts and eight each vs. West Chester, Rhode Island, and Wofford...forced two fumbles vs. Massachusetts and recovered fumbles vs. Richmond and William & Mary...had two tackles for loss against Maine (both sacks) and Colgate...

2002: Moved to defensive end in spring drills to fill a team need and posted a solid sophomore season...played in all 12 games and started 11 contests...did not start vs. Maine...led all down linemen and was fourth on the squad with 66 tackles, including 37 solo stops...posted three quarterback sacks for losses of 17 yards and seven tackles for losses of 21 yards..also forced fumbles vs. The Citadel and Rhode Island...posted career-high 14 vs. Rhode Island and added 10 stops vs. William & Mary...also had eight stops vs. Georgia Southern and six each vs. The Citadel, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts...recorded sacks vs. New Hampshire, UMass, and West Chester...

2001: Enjoyed an outstanding freshman campaign as a starting outside linebacker...played in eight games and started the first seven game of the season before missing the final two games of the season with an ankle sprain...ranked eighth on the team with 43 tackles, including 21 solo stops...also recorded three tackles for loss, recovered two fumbles, and forced another...posted season-high 10 tackles in collegiate debut vs. Rhode Island...also had eight stops vs. New Hampshire and recorded six tackles against Northeastern, including two for loss...named one of four Blue Hen Most Improved Players on defense for spring drills...

2000: Listed on depth chart but did not see game action and retained freshman eligibility...

High School Honors: Four-year varsity starter at linebacker for head coach Danny Dodson at Woodside High School...two-time All-District selection and a three-year captain...four-year standout for wrestling team...won district title as a junior and was ranked No. 5 in his weight class in Peninsula Region...was a Junior Olympian All-American in weight class...track standout who was ranked among the top 400 meter runners in Tidewater area...honor student who was a member of the student council and a member of the Future Business Leaders of America...

Personal: Mondoe (pronounced "mahn-dough") Ramone Davis...born March 19, 1982...son of Cervantes and Brenda Davis...father is a retired Army officer...earned undergraduate degree in sociology with honors in January and is currently enrolled in his second semester of graduate school at UD in public administration and public policy...popular campus leader...has been named UD's Mr. Black Student Union and was recognized as a UD African-American Student of Distinction...three-time member of Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team...serves as a Peer Mentor in Delaware's H.E.N.S. (Helping Each Newcomer Succeed) program in which upperclassmen help freshman student-athletes adjust to college life...student-athlete member of UD Self-Study Steering Committee for NCAA certification in 2003...named a National Strength and Conditioning Association "All-American" for his dedication to weight training in May, 2003.
