Amanda Warrington Selected for the NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star Game

GLEN ALLEN, VA -- University of Delaware senior Amanda Warrington was chosen to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Star game, as selected by the NFHCA.

The game, which will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at the University of Maryland, will showcase the top senior field hockey players from around the country.

This season Warrington is tied for second on the team with four assists. She is also tied for third with 12 points and fourth with four goals.

A second-team STX/NFHCA All-American in 2004, Warrington had a breakout season during her sophomore campaign. During the season, she scored a career-high 10 goals and added four assists. An All-CAA First Team selection, she helped lead the Hens to the conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

A team captain the last two seasons, she has notched 21 goals, 16 assists, and 58 points during her standout career.

In the All-Star game, Warrington will be joined by fellow CAA members Sarah Gostomski of Drexel, Kim Hedley of William & Mary, and Lauren Stefaniak of James Madison.

A native of Lewes, Delaware, Warrington is majoring in elementary education with a social studies discipline.
