GLEN ALLEN, VA -- University of Delaware senior Carly Campana (Piscataway, NJ, Piscataway) was selected as an alternate to play in the prestigious 2005 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Field Hockey Game.

Campana, a co-captain, has started all 15 games in the midfield for the Blue Hens, who are currently 6-9 overall and 1-4 in the Colonial Athletic Association. She recorded her only assist of the season at Hofstra on September 25. As a junior Campana was named to the Colonial Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll and started 11 of the school-record 22 games in which she appeared. She scored one goal and notched one assist a year ago and now has four points in her career.

The North/South Senior All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the University of Louisville in
Louisville, KY at 7:30 p.m.

Campana and the Blue Hens host CAA rival Towson Friday at 7 p.m. at Rullo Stadium.
