University of Delaware senior men's lacrosse standout Adam Zuder-Havens is the Wilmington Trust Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 25, 2007.
Zuder-Havens, a senior attackman from Corning, NY (Corning East HS/Herkimer Junior College), led the No. 15 ranked Blue Hen men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 week as Delaware (3-0) defeated Lehigh 9-5 on Wednesday and Manhattan 20-5 on Saturday.
Zuder-Havens scored three of his career-high tying four goals in the final nine minutes to lead the Blue Hens to the win over Lehigh and added two goals in the big victory over Manhattan.
The Hens, who have won a school-record 11 straight home games, are now off to a 3-0 start for the third time in the last four games. Delaware will host Rutgers this Saturday, March 3 at 1 p.m.
Zuder-Havens is a leasure management major at Delaware.
