FOOTBALL: Delaware Names Hendricks, Johnson, Marcorelle, and Michaud Captains for 2008 Season
NEWARK, DE (May 15, 2008) -- University of Delaware football head coach K.C. Keeler has announced that seniors Kheon Hendricks, Erik Johnson, and Kervin Michaud and junior Matt Marcorelle have been selected as captains for the 2008 season. GOLF: Tommy Ellison Named 2008-09 Delaware Men’s Golf Captain; Steve Boerner Earns Grinder Award

BASEBALL: Delaware to End Season at VCU with Single Game on Thursday, Doubleheader on Friday
NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware baseball team will end its season with a three-game series beginning tomorrow with a 7 p.m. showdown at VCU. The two teams will then play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. rather than one game on Friday and Saturday. |

NEWARK, DE -- Maryland ace Scott Swinson fired a nine-inning no-hitter and struck out a career-high 10 batters as he helped the Terrapins top the University of Delaware baseball team, 4-0, during the Blue Hens' home finale at Bob Hannah Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. MEN'S SOCCER: Matt Haney to Return to UD Soccer Program as Assistant Coach
NEWARK, DE (May 13, 2008) -- The University of Delaware men's soccer program has announced the addition of former Blue Hen standout Matt Haney (left) to its staff as an assistant coach. Haney starred in the Blue Hen backfield from 2003-06, scoring four goals and dishing out an assist in 70 career matches.
