Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson has lived in Delaware his entire life. During this time, he has been an avid reenactor of various time periods such as the Civil War, Spanish American War, and World Wars I and II. He has acquired a remarkable collection of original uniforms, military items, and weapons. He currently works at a costuming shop located in Delaware City that makes reproduction clothing for reenactors and historical movies such as "Gettysburg". He has a great interest in the everyday life of the soldier during all time periods, most importantly the Civil War. Due to his passion for this time period, he has given several talks to schools and meetings about the life of the common federal and confederate soldier during these war years.
