The University of Delaware launched a new student program in Spring 2011 to help build its online presence--Social Media Sources (SMS).
This team of students generates beats for the UD Facebook and Twitter profiles, UDelaware™ and Blue Hen Says, gaining exposure to an audience of tens of thousands in the social media universe.
UD is accepting rolling applications for this program as it is always looking for fresh ideas and varied content. SMS projects include attending campus events for arts, athletics and academics and writing short posts and posting pictures or videos about life as a UD student. Team members will attend monthly meetings and compose short, weekly posts based on assigned beats.
Interested students should fill out the SMS application form.
