Constructed in 1983
Named
in memory of Robert L. Spencer, dean of the College of Engineering from
1928-45, Spencer Laboratory houses the Department of Mechanical
Engineering and the Center for Catalytic Science and Technology.

Pierre S. du Pont Hall (DUP)
on The Green, Newark
Constructed in 1957
P.S.
du Pont Hall is named in memory of Pierre S. du Pont, a major
benefactor of the University. The building houses classrooms and
laboratories for the College of Engineering. In 2002, a major $27
million expansion and renovation of the building was completed.
Included was the addition of a new three-story front to the bulding
that was designed by renowned Georgian architect Allan Greenberg, who
designed Gore Hall, which sits across The Green from P.S. du Pont Hall.
