1: Use the web to make tangrams.

Follow this link to get to the Kids.Com. You'll be trying to form each of the different shapes so choose any one of the squares to start with. READ the instructions carefully to see how to slide the shape, turn it and flip it over. After you finish a shape have your teacher initial your worksheet.

ACTIVITY
2: Thinking about tangrams.
|
With a partner, go back and put one of the tangrams together again. On your answer sheet, describe what you have to do to put the shape together. Make sure you are clear enough so that another student could follow your directions.

3: More tangrams

Use the applet at Enchanted Mind to make your own designs. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button marked Tangram.
