A 1-day class to begin to learn about some options for utilizing and managing graphics for the web
This session will introduce participants to two tools used to manage graphics for the web. We will begin with Irfanview, a free tool, that lets you capture images and manipulate them for best use on the web. Then, we will move on to Fireworks, the graphics program from Macromedia so that results can be moved in from and exported to Dreamweaver. Participants will learn how to design templates in Fireworks and utilize them to manage sites in Dreamweaver. We will also develop interactive navigation in Fireworks that can be exported to and used in Dreamweaver edited web pages.
Participants should bring a hardcopy of any images they would like to include on their web pages or any current web pages or images on digital media. A scanner will be available to scan images.
