well as evaluations for Yeast vaginitis, Bacterial Vaginosis, Herpes, Genital Warts, and other

Thin Prep Pap Smears with HPV testing as medically indicated ·
HIV counseling & testing referrals are also offered Ideally,
STD testing after a possible exposure should be done at least one week later,
and not during a woman’s period. HIV
counseling and testing is now available in the main Medical Clinic by
appointment. Testing is done by a
finger stick and results are done in 20 minutes. Please call 831-2226 for an
appointment. If a
woman believes she has a yeast infection, over-the-counter antifungal
medication is available at the SHS Supply Store without a
prescription. If you have never
been diagnosed with a yeast infection before, we do still encourage a patient
to be examined first for correct diagnosis. It is helpful for us when evaluating a
patient for vaginal symptoms if the patient has not used any anti-fungal
vaginal medication for at least 24 hours. To
schedule an appointment, call 831-8035. Educational Links (from the CDC
