MAY 2009 SEROLOGIC TEST RESULTS OF CDC ASSESSMENT OF NOVEL H1N1 INFLUENZA IN STUDENTS/STAFF AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE

The Student Health Service was informed (Tuesday, 28 July 2009) by the CDC that it is continuing to analyze the sera (blood sampling) of the students/staff who submitted their blood during the serosurvey in May 2009.  The process of developing a specific assay for H1N1 is taking longer than expected.  It is expected the CDC analysis will take a few more months before individual results are available for the students/staff who participated.

When the Student Health Service receives these results it will post a notice on the Student Health Service WEB page of the availability.
