Academic Year 2009-2010
This page shows the number of
student computers that have been cited for copyright infringement and
removed from the University's network
in the current academic year. If you are a student, and you violate
copyright laws, you:
- Receive a Copyright Violation Notice with infringement
specifics in your University
e-mail
account.
- Have your network access disabled.
- Must complete the Copyright Education course in Sakai.
- Must
schedule
an appointment to have your computer examined by IT-Client Support
& Services at a cost of $70 for first-time service and $100 for any
subsequent
service.
- Will have your network access restored upon your completion of the Sakai course and
examination of your system by IT-Client Support & Services.
Future incidents of alleged copyright infringement will be referred to
the Office of Student Conduct.
