Program - Description
The University
of Delaware (UD) and Delaware
Technical & Community
College (DTCC) join together to encourage underrepresented minority students
to pursue careers in biomedical research by providing research opportunities,
professional career counseling and specialized academic advisement. The
opportunities provided to DTCC students by the program include:
- Regular Academic Monitoring and Advisement
- Tutorial Services
- Research Opportunities at UD through a Research Apprenticeship Program and a Summer Scholars Research Program
- Special assistance in preparing applications for admissions to baccalaureate-degree granting institutions
- Special assistance in identifying financial aids sources at UD and support in submitting financial aids applications
- Involvement with the UD NUCLEUS program to help promote a seamless transition to UD
