Can I get help with the installation?
Assistance is available for all students using supported hardware and
software. The exact support available depends on when and where you purchased
your computer and Ethernet board.
If you would like to have your ethernet card and network software
installed, call User Services at (302) 831-8442 to make an
appointment. Installations will begin on August 12.
During Residence Hall check-in
If you order your computer, board, and software from the Computer
Department of the University Bookstore during June and July, all parts will be
installed for you when you pick up your computer during Residence Hall
check-in. If you order a system or purchase an Ethernet board from the Computer
Department of the University Bookstore after July 31, or have purchased
supported hardware from another vendor, University staff will be available to
install and test the board and software during Residence Hall check-in. Bring
your board, computer, documentation, and proof-of-purchase with you.
Staff will also be at the Bob Carpenter Center on freshman
move-in day, September 1, 9:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.
During the school year
When the University is in session, University staff will be available to
assist you with installation of supported Ethernet boards and software.
If you need assistance, contact the Information Technologies Help Desk
