Creating a Special Interest Community gives you the opportunity to not only live with a group of people who share a common interest, but to also create a new tradition here at Delaware. You also have the option of reviving a former interest community such as the following:
Interested individuals/groups should make an appointment with the Complex Coordinator in charge of Special Interest Housing by contacting Residence Life at ud-reslife@udel.edu to learn more about the proposal process.
Accepted proposals are introduced as new communities in the following academic year and receive administrative support in recruiting members, a programming budget, the guidance of a programming liaison, and a section of rooms in the Ray Street Complex with an assigned Community Lounge.
