Opening and Closing Information
Sunday, August 29, 2009 - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM residence hall check
in for new students
Monday, September 1, 2009 - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, September 2, 2009 - 11am to 3pm residence hall check
in for returning students.
Fall Semester Early Check-In Request
Thursday, August 27, 2009 - 5pm to 9pm (new or returning students)
or Saturday, August 29, 2009 - 8am to 4pm (returning students)
If you cannot check-in during the scheduled check-in days you are REQUIRED to submit an EARLY CHECK-IN registration.
Wednesday, November 25, 2009 - 7:00 PM All residence halls (except
Christiana Towers) close for break. The Independence Complex students can sign up for break
housing through their Hall Director.
Sunday, November 29, 2009 - 2:00 PM All residence halls re-open.
Friday, December 18, 2009 - 10:00 PM All residence halls close except the Christiana Towers. All students must check out and turn in their key and access card/fob or be charged a replacement fee. Christiana Towers students do not return keys or cards/fobs at this time.The Independence Complex students can sign up for break housing through their Hall Director.
Sunday, January 3, 2010 - 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Residence halls open
for Winter Session students.
Monday, January 4, 2010 - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Residence hall check
in continues for Winter Session.
Saturday, February 6, 2010 8 - 7:00 PM All students leaving the halls
after Winter Session must be out by this time.
Sunday, February 7, 2010 - 9:00 AM to Noon Room change period for students on campus during Winter Session.
Sunday, February 7, 2010 - 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Residence hall check in for Spring.
Friday, March 26, 2010 - 7:00 PM all residence halls close except Christiana Towers. Independence Complex students can sign up for break housing through their Hall Director.
Sunday, April 4, 2010 - 2:00 PM all residence halls re-open
Friday, May 29, 2009 - 10:00 PM all residence halls close (including Christiana Towers). Graduating Seniors and any students with an official role at Commencement must sign up to stay late through their Hall Director.
Saturday, May 30, 2009 - 6:00 PM All residence halls close for graduating Seniors.
