Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, I knew immediately the University of Delaware was an exceptional opportunity for education while staying close to family. I completed my bachelor's degree in Communication in 2004 and my master's degree in Communication in 2006. While taking classes, I proudly participated as a member of the student-staff team employed by the Office of Residence Life. Working first as Resident Assistant in an upper-division residence hall on East Campus and later as a Hall Director for three years, I found my passion and love.

Now, I am working towards my Educational Doctorate and am completing my fifth professional year as a Complex Coordinator. Overseeing Smyth and Harrington, I am privileged to supervise a dedicated staff of 1 Residence Hall Coordinator, 2 Hall Directors, 21 Resident Assistants, and 1 Student Engagement Advisor serving approximately 700 first-year students.
