Greetings! My name is Cheri Skipworth and I am the Complex Coordinator (CC) for the Ray Street Complex. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended Bucknell University, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. I volunteered for two years as an Americorp* VISTA member where I taught children and young adults about the importance of service learning and civility. I then went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Student Affairs from Kutztown University.
In 2004, the opportunity presented itself to become a Graduate Residence Director at Kutztown University. I served in this position for two years. After this I moved on to a professional Residence Hall Director position at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland for 5 years.
Now, I am proud to be a part of the University of Delaware's Residence Life Staff. I am very excited to work with a staff of 2 Hall Directors, 9 Resident Assistants and a Student Engagement Advisor to create a welcoming and dynamic environment for our residents. Ray Street is the home of a diverse array of Living Learning Communities and I look forward to each community having a very successful year.
