Student Engagement Coordinator

Hello, my name is Siobhan May. I am excited to be rejoining the UD Residence Life team this year as Student Engagement Coordinator. I think that when students get involved in their campus and their community they can add so much to their college experience and I am happy to be here to help all students connect to the countless opportunities available at UD and beyond. I know that University of Delaware students are talented and passionate individuals and I look forward to seeing how we will work together to impact our campus and community.

I was born in Australia, lived all over the states, finished high school in England, and as a sophomore in college I transferred to the University of Delaware. I had a better undergraduate career than I could imagine because I got involved as much as I could.  My experience at UD led me to Adelphi University where I earned my M.F.A., taught English and Creative Writing, and worked with student leaders in the Center for Student Involvement.

I spend a lot of my free time writing and reading and I’m currently working on my novel.  I also love languages, watching films, and exploring new places.  I live in Newark with my two goldfish, Trousers and Detective Stabler.
