Hello, I’m Yenti Gunawan and I’m excited to join UD’s Residence Life team this year as a Residence Hall Coordinator for Harrington C, D, and E. I’m looking forward to working with Harrington Complex Coordinator Jacqueline Winslow, nine wonderful RAs, and first-year students.

I’m originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. I came to the United States for my undergraduate degrees where I studied Communication Studies and Management with the emphasis in Information Systems at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I worked for a couple of years in Wisconsin and Singapore as a Business Planning Analyst before coming back to the United States to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the same university.

My passion for the student affairs field started when my supervisor and director of Career Services recommended I work in residence life. I researched the field and worked as a resident assistant. From then on, I was hooked. My passion has always been to help people fully live to their potential, and now I know college students are where I want to focus my attention.

Outside residence life, I am interested in working with college students for any mental health and career services related concerns. I also like to meet new people and learn about their cultures and backgrounds.
