Kate Adams
Russell Hall C/D/E
Greetings! My name is Kate Adams and I am the Residence Hall Coordinator for Russell Hall C, D, & E on East Campus. Russell Hall is the home of first-year students enrolled in the Honors Program. In addition to serving first-year honors students, I have the pleasure of advising the Russell, Lane, and Thompson Complex Community Council. Working alongside a fellow Residence Hall Coordinator, a Complex Coordinator, and an excellent team of 23 Resident Assistants, the Russell, Lane, and Thompson Complex is dedicated to developing an engaged community, which encourages academic excellence and enthusiastic involvement in the University.
Before coming to the University of Delaware, I achieved my bachelor’s degree in English Literature from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and completed my master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Throughout my time at West Chester University, I was involved in the campus community as a Disk Jockey for WCUR 91.7fm, an A cappella singer in WCU’s Gracenotes, and a Resident Assistant. Following my time at West Chester University, I continued my path in Residence Life while completing my master’s degree as a Graduate Resident Director at Seton Hill University. I’ve also had internship experience working in Penn State’s LGBTA Student Resource Center and in the Office of Service-Learning at Duquesne University. Not only am I extremely passionate about helping students create meaningful experiences while at UD, but in my spare time I thoroughly enjoy singing, playing piano, reading, crocheting, and swimming.
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas please contact me via email at adamsk@udel.edu or by phone at 302-831-0421.
I look forward to a wonderful year in the Russell, Lane, and Thompson Complex!
