Duty Information

Building Duty:

One student staff member is on duty in each hall nightly from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. This person's name is posted in the main lobby, on the office door, and on Resident Assistants' doors. These staff member will also sit brief office hours. The schedule for these hours will also be posted.

Students needing assistance should feel free to contact the staff member on duty.

Professional Staff On-Call:

At least one Residence Life professional staff member and one Facilities Management professional staff member will be on duty for the campus each weekend from Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 8:00 a.m. (or Tuesday for three-day weekends). The Residence Life Assistant Directors and Associate Directors rotate weekday emergency contact duty. Staff members are provided with a "duty card" with the cell phone numbers for the weekend and weeknight duty professional.
