Damage Billing & Excessive HousekeepingResidence Hall vandalism can be an unfortunate reality in community living. Facilities Management has developed a Damage Billing Policy. Damages that occur as a result of vandalism result in financial sanctions for the community. These damage charges and excessive housekeeping fines are charged to residents. Whenever the responsible individual(s) can be identified, the financial charges are levied to them and they can also be charged judicially. Facilities Management's Damage Billing Program assesses vandalism charges to residents or resident groups living in close proximity to the location of the actual damages. Residents may challenge through the appeals process to have any Damage Billing Charges or Excessive Housekeeping Fines removed. (See Facilities Management for more details).
