Blue Hen Helpers are volunteers who help new students and families move their luggage and other belongings into their residence hall rooms on New Student Check-in Day. The helpers are the first to extend a warm welcome to new students and their families and begin to build the strong and positive community that enhances every student’s living and learning experience. This year, the New Student Check-in Day is Saturday, August 27, 2016 (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

If you are going to live on campus and will move in early on Thursday, August 25 from 5-9 p.m., you MUST also fill out the Early Check-In form, which will become available on July 1, 2016
