This award recognizes a Service Team that has made significant service contributions within their complex. The nomination letter should include the Service Team’s goals and mission and provide detailed examples of: community contributions; benefits of the Service Team’s actions for the complex and partner agencies; the Service Team’s participation in or support of Residence Life & Housing and/or University activities; member testimonials regarding above descriptors and/or how their experience in the organization has made a difference in their life; and staff testimonials. Specifically, nominations should focus on the Service Team’s efforts to promote civic engagement and community initiatives.
Any person or group at the University of Delaware may write a nomination. Nominations for this award may be staff-initiated but Service Team members and residence hall students must be included in the nomination process. Self-nominations are encouraged.
