Environmental Sustainability Initiative of the Year


Who Does This Award Recognize?

This award recognizes an initiative created by residence hall students to promote and enhance environmental sustainability on campus within the residence halls, within the local community or state of Delaware, and possibly beyond. The nominated initiative must be developed by students individually or as members of a group. The nomination should describe a new initiative, or a separate, student-designed initiative that supports a larger program on campus.

Nominators:

Any person or group at the University of Delaware may submit a nomination for this award. Self-nominations are encouraged.

Nominations Must Include:

  • A nomination statement including a brief summary of the initiative, sustainable efforts used to carry out the initiative, and how the initiative has had an impact on the University of Delaware community. Nominations may range anywhere from 350 to 800 words in length.
