Turn your room into a comforting home away from home with the Residence Hall Linens program. We have partnered with Residence Hall Linens since 1992 to provide our students and families with a convenient, affordable way to ensure you have everything you need for life on campus. The extra long sheets and bedding products are guaranteed to fit all of the beds on campus, and there are matching towels and even storage items available to help make the transition to college life easier. All products are guaranteed until graduation, and shipping is free for all Value Pak orders.
The Resident Student Association receives proceeds from every order placed through this program. Parents and students who have taken advantage of this opportunity in previous years recommend placing your order early, since popular colors and patterns can sell out quickly.
Please visit the RHL website www.rhl.org/ude or call (800) 957-4338.

Campus Specialties Inc. will be renting 1 door 3.6 cubic-ft. refrigerators, 2 door 2.9 cubic ft. Energy Star refrigerator/freezer and combination microwave/refrigerators. The Energy Star units are offered as a way to promote the University's Climate Action Plan. You may pre-order these units using an order form that will be sent to you this summer, and Campus Specialties Inc. will deliver your rental on Move-In Day.
One refrigerator, with a maximum capacity of 4.5 cubic feet (using 120 volts or less and no more than 2.4 amps of power) is permitted in each residence hall room. Energy Star unit are not required, but we ask that if you are bringing your own refrigerator to consider using one that is energy efficient.
One microwave using a maximum of 700 watts is approved for use in each residence hall room. Students living in Dickinson and Rodney complexes are asked to either purchase or rent a microwave/refrigerator combination unit or not bring a microwave. These buildings were not designed for the electrical loads imposed by microwaves. Power failures can occur if separate microwave and refrigerator unit are used simultaneously.
Guidelines for Microwave/Refrigerator Use and Maintenance
Appliances must carry the approval label of Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) and be connected directly into a wall socket or power strip with an internal circuit breaker.
Refrigerators, microwaves or combination units should be positioned to allow ventilation and should never be placed in closets. Wiring cannot be covered and refrigerators should be kept free of excessive frost, mold or mildew. Food should be kept in airtight containers. Refrigerators should be emptied and unplugged over extended breaks.
A charge will be assessed if there is damage to the residence hall room or furnishings as a result of microwave or refrigerator use.
