Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the contract before continuing.

The contract is legally binding 48 hours after the earlier of: (1) the completion of the room selection process, (2) receipt of assignment, or (3) placement on the wait list.  For applications received after the designated Open Enrollment period, the contract will become legally binding 48 hours after submission of the application.

At the University of Delaware, there are various housing options to accommodate dietary, medical, and physical needs for students. We understand that there are circumstances where particular requests and accommodations need to be considered.

On the demographics page, check the Accommodations box if you intend to submit documentation of your need, consisting of an evaluation by an appropriate professional that relates the current impact of your condition to your housing request.

Documentation received late may result in an assignment that does not match your needs. For complete details on housing requests involving needs, please refer to the Housing Accommodations webpage, or contact Residence Life & Housing at (302) 831-HOME (4663).

If you select this box, you will be taken to a Requested Accommodations page, which includes links to forms. Please let us know which type of accommodation you will be requesting.

The demographic information on this page is what the University of Delaware has on file. If you wish to make any changes, you will need to contact the Registrar's office at (302) 831-2131.

Hit Save & Continue.

Profile Questions

Some Housing Options require an essay or agreement.

Both roommates in a roommate group must be eligible to joing the community and complete the supplemental steps.

Please answer the profile questions to the best of your ability. This information is helfpul in roommate matching, roommate searching, and self-selecting into a room that already has an occupant(s).

The results of the questionnaire, your screen name, and Facebook link (if provided) will be visible to everyone completing a housing application in this process. Each time you apply for housing (such as for the next academic year), you will have the opportunity to update your profile responses.

Please visit our Roommate Resources page for further information about answering these questions and additional resources that can help you build your roommate relationships.

Let us know where you are hoping to live for 2014-2015. Your answers will help us with occupancy planning and will not affect or guarantee what spaces are available to you during the room selection process.

ALL students who would like to self-select a space need to create a time slot request group, whether they continue as an Individual, Roommate Group, or Friends Together Group.

The student who creates the time slot request group becomes the Group Leader.

If you do not have a specific roommate in mind for next year, or want to find someone to fill out a larger group, you will be able to search using our new roommate matching tool.

You can do a simple search and get a list of potential roommates and how compatible they are based on answers to the profile questions.

Found someone you want to connect with? You can message others within the system and learn more about them.
