9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday, February 6, 2012
There is no early check-in available for the Spring semester. If you need to make arrangements to check in earlier than 2:00 PM on Sunday, Feb. 5, please contact your Hall Director or Residence Hall Coordinator. Please see http://www.udel.edu/reslife/staff/phonelists.html for a listing of professional staff phone numbers and email addresses.
Confirm Room Assignment and Roommate Information the Last Week in January
- If one or more of your roommates vacates your room or apartment, you need to know that someone may be assigned to the vacant space in your room during Winter Session and/or Spring Semester without prior notification from the Office of Housing Assignment Services.
- Spaces vacated by residents after Fall Semester are routinely offered to new residents who apply for Winter Session and Spring Semesters and residents requesting room changes.
- Please do everything you can to have the room ready for a new roommate.
- Students may not intentionally discourage newly assigned roommates from moving into a room.
All Students Must Sign the Spring Roster
All students, including those who were here for Winter Session, must sign in with their Residence Hall Coordinator, Hall Director, or RA either on the Spring Roster or electronically using the Electronic Check-in (http://www.udel.edu/reshallCheckin) form.
See http://www.udel.edu/has/echeckin.html for information on electronic check-in.
Unable to Check in by Monday, February 6, at 3:00 PM?
If you plan to attend Spring Semester classes but will not be able to check into your residence hall by 3:00 PM on Monday, February 6, 2012, you must make special arrangements in writing with the Office of Housing Assignment Services (5 Courtney Street, Newark, DE 19716).
If you do not make these arrangements, your space may be cancelled and assigned to another student.
NOTE: Not signing in does not release you from your Academic Year Student Housing Agreement. Please go to http://www.udel.edu/has/ and click on “Student Housing Agreement” on the left-hand side of the page, and scroll to “Cancellation Policy.”
