The Water Polo club is about teaching and competing in Water Polo at the collegiate club level. While many of our athletes were former swimmers (at all levels, including varsity) or played Water Polo in high school, many of the athletes also learned Water Polo for the first time when they joined our team. We are in our seventh year as a club team and are looking forward to a successful season. More information is available on our team’s personal webpage linked below.
Meetings are announced via e-mail and usually take place on the pool deck before practice. To join the e-mail list click here.
We accept everyone, both male and female, with whatever experience. Swimming experience is a plus.
Practices are in the pool at the CSB, or "Little Bob" from 9:00-10:30 PM Mondays through Thursdays.
In the fall, we participate in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA), and in the spring we compete in American Water Polo (AWP).
Members are required to attend 3 of the 4 practices every week (with the exception of extenuating circumstance). Members are also required to pay dues in the beginning of the semester. Dues are determined based on the size of the team and team expenses.
Our club provides goals, water polo numbered caps, and balls. Unless the team purchases suits, individuals are responsible for bringing their own suits, caps, and goggles (if desired).
